Kapers is a beloved McKinley tradition — truly our pride and joy!

This original musical production brings together our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, along with parents and teachers, to sing, dance, and discover the magic of performing on stage. No prior experience is needed — the goal is simply to learn what goes into putting on a show, work together as a community, and most of all, have a ton of fun!

Mark your calendars: 2026 Kapers performances will be held on Wednesday, March 25 & Thursday, March 26.

We can’t wait to see our students shine and to celebrate this special tradition with all of you!

To make Kapers a success, we rely on the support of our amazing parent community. We’re always in need of volunteers regardless of what grade your child(ren) are in to help with costumes, sets, rehearsals, backstage support, and more. If you’re interested in being part of the magic, please let us know — every helping hand makes a big difference!

If anyone has any questions about Kapers, please contact Jennifer Pittman (jennifergpittman@gmail.com) and/or Cynthia Nardulli (cynthianardulli@yahoo.com).
